Op Shop Store Manager – Brand New Op Shop in Elizabeth

We offer shelter, education, medical attention and love to help animals in need find loving forever homes. We advocate for the humane treatment of all living creatures, and we are the only charity empowered by State Parliament to prosecute perpetrators of animal cruelty and neglect.
We are seeking a passionate and driven full‑time Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our brand new Elizabeth Op Shop .
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the store from the ground up — from building your team to driving sales and creating an exceptional customer experience.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, worked across a 7-day roster. Specific working days will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
In the role you will:
* Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to employees and volunteers.
* Build an effective team by leading and managing volunteers; identify clear work functions and monitor performance against the business objectives.
* Manage the Op Shop volunteer roster and regularly review to ensure suitable volunteers meet the operational requirements.
* Produce high quality finance management and reporting documents within specific timeframes.

The successful candidates will be energetic and tenacious in the achievement of goals, take initiative and demonstrate the personal drive to exceed targets. They will be "self‑starters" with a strong sense of initiative encompassing excellent time management and organisational skills. They will encompass a positive personality, with a flexible attitude and the ability to ensure high priority to customer satisfaction is provided. The successful managers will encompass excellent written skills and strong attention to detail, ensuring that work produced is accurate and consistently meets quality standards.
