Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality pastry dishes and desserts in line with our luxury standards.
- Assist in the creation of new pastry recipes and menu items that showcase creativity and originality.
- Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie - Pastry or a similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry/bakery.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and a passion for innovation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
