About This Role
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to lead our sales and marketing efforts across multiple channels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and enhance brand presence.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to engage corporate, leisure, and group segments.
* Leverage your expertise to lead the RFP process, including rate strategy, bid submissions, and negotiations with preferred accounts.
* Nurture strong relationships with key partners, such as PCOs, associations, and event agencies.
* Grow the MICE segment through targeted initiatives and creative campaigns.
* Analyse trends, competitor performance, and pricing strategy with the Revenue Manager to maximise yield.
* Manage the sales pipeline, lead allocation, and reporting using Delphi.fdc or similar CRM systems.
* Represent us at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
* Oversee digital marketing strategy and online performance, including OTA content and rate parity.
* Lead, coach, and inspire the Sales & Marketing team to achieve targets and deliver excellence.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A proven background in commercial leadership, preferably in 4-star+ hotels or resorts.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
