Due to strong national growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking a commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a desk within our Brisbane team.
This is an opportunity to scale an established portfolio, capitalise on deep candidate networks.
You will recruit across technically complex and highly regulated environments, including:
* GMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
* Biotechnology & Advanced Therapeutics
* Medical Devices & MedTech
* Life Sciences & Laboratory Operations
* Regulatory Affairs & Quality (QA/QC)
* Validation, CSV & Technical Engineering
Typical placements include:
* Senior QA/RA professionals
* Validation & Compliance Specialists
* Manufacturing & Process Engineers
* Technical Operations Managers
* Production & Formulation Scientists
* Commercial & Technical Sales roles within Medical Devices
These markets are candidate-short, compliance-heavy, and relationship-driven — ideal for a consultant who knows how to position value, influence hiring decisions, and control process.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Owning and expanding an established, revenue-generating desk
* Driving high-value permanent and temp placements
* Partnering strategically with clients to deliver market intelligence, salary benchmarking and talent mapping
* Developing long-term partnerships with key industry stakeholders
* Identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing accounts and untapped verticals
* Managing full-cycle recruitment with precision and pace
* Negotiating high-value offers and maximising fee outcomes
You will be supported by a national candidate database, sophisticated recruitment tech, marketing campaigns that generate inbound leads, and leadership that understands how to scale consultants beyond the $500k+ billing mark.
About You
You are commercially ambitious and performance-driven.
* 2+ years’ recruitment OR Sales experience, ideally within Scientific, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotech or Medical Devices
* Proven billing history with consistent revenue performance
* Confident operating within technical, regulated or specialist markets
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Strategic thinker who understands margin, pipeline management and conversion ratios
* Motivated by growth, autonomy and financial reward
Science qualifications or industry exposure are highly regarded.
