Personal assistant in Edwardstown – 4-6 hours per week
About the Role
I’m a woman in my 30s, an inclusive educator, a walker, and a lover of theatre and the arts. I live in my own home and work full-time.
I’m looking for support from someone who can help me live a full and typical life — someone who can assist with my routines, help keep things running smoothly at home and support me to start each day feeling confident and ready for work.
The role includes:
•Going for a morning walk
•Getting through my chores to keep my home running smoothly
•Helping me keep track of time in the mornings
•Supporting me to plan for the day ahead and feel prepared and confident to step out the door
Who I’m looking for:
The right person will be curious, creative, and non-judgemental, with a sense of humour. It’s also important that they can balance mindfulness with initiative, encouraging and supporting me through my morning routine.
A background in supporting people with executive dysfunction, particularly with transitions, is advantageous, although what matters most is your willingness to learn and be present.
Availability:
I’m looking to hire two support workers to help me with my morning routine. The shifts are from 6:00am to 8:00am, Monday to Friday. Each person would usually work 2 to 3 mornings per week.
All applicants must have or willingness to obtain:
•Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
•A current NDIS worker check
•First Aid Certificate
If you’re passionate about making genuine connections and having a positive impact in your local community, we’d love to hear from you.
