We are seeking a high-level design expert to lead our engineering delivery team in a strategic and senior role.
About the Position
This individual will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and risk management strategies while staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovative design solutions for high-value projects.
* Execution of business growth strategy by mitigating risks and developing effective project solutions during tender and bid development phases.
* Mentoring of experienced and junior design managers.
* Establishment of a centre of excellence for the development of engineering value-added solutions.
* Identification and implementation of efficiency opportunities for high-performance and sustainable long-term engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* To de-risk strategic and major projects by providing expert guidance and support throughout the tender and bid development phases.
* To mentor and develop the skills of senior and junior design managers, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to deliver successful projects.
* To establish and maintain a centre of excellence for the development of engineering value-added solutions, driving innovation and improving project outcomes.
* To identify and implement efficiency opportunities that enable high-performance and sustainable long-term engineering solutions, reducing costs and improving productivity.
