About the role
Ultra Tune Currimundi is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Currimundi, Queensland. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services to our customers. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be based at our Currimundi location.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing, repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles, including cars, 4x4 and light commercial vehicles
* Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
* Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
* Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
* Providing excellent customer service
* Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a relevant trade
* Certificate III qualification in automotive mechanics is required
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic in the automotive industry
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Must have Australian work rights
* Current car licence is required
* Air conditioning and roadworthy qualifications would be an advantage
