We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Job Placement Specialist to join our team. As a Job Placement Specialist, you will work with young people to build their skills, confidence, and readiness to enter employment through targeted and tailored activities.

* Deliver outcome-driven employment services, including assessment, pathway development, employer outreach, and ongoing support for sustainable employment.
* Complete intake assessments with participants to determine work readiness.
* Work collaboratively with individuals to goal set and implement strategies.
* Source and match employment opportunities for young people using a strengths-based, client-centered approach.
* Job matching, cold calling, and reverse marketing the young person to employers.
* Possess demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing actions, including job-seeking activities, to progress the young person on their pathway to employment.
* Have the drive to meet performance metrics and genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
* Be proficient in using technology and systems, with high compliance requirements.
* Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
* Have a solid understanding of the local labor market and the barriers faced by disadvantaged young people.
* Hold a full driver's license.
