**About This Established and Growing Group**
This well-established, locally owned professional services company is seeking a mature, motivated and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounting professional to join their team on a Permanent Part Time basis (2 Days Per Week).
Located in the inner suburbs of Newcastle, the company has continued to expand and sees this role as a key appointment for them now and into the future.
Modern in their thinking, the firm is currently upgrading their accounting systems to Xero. They are always looking at ways of improving their internal processes and will value your contribution.
**About The Role**
Working closely with the Senior Management team (directly to the CEO), essentially your role is extremely "hands on" and will cover everything from Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll through to preparing the BAS & P&L. reconciling and basic forecasting. You will also be required to liaise with the company's firm of accountants.
Although your main responsibility is to provide extensive support to the CEO regarding the business' financials, it is also imperative that you form a meaningful relationship with all staff members to ensure all finance and administration functions run efficiently.
It would be ideal if your working days (in the office) would be Monday and Thursday. 9.00am to 4.30pm. Some flexibility in hours can be considered.
**About You**
To be considered for this role you will possess a minimum of five years general Bookkeeping/Accounting experience. You will also be comfortable working with plenty or autonomy. TAFE or University qualifications in Accounting/Bookkeeping are "a must". Experience using Xero would be deemed favourably.
