Located in the historic township of Berwick, Woodlands Park retirement village is more than just a workplace—it’s a serene, beautifully landscaped community where your passion for gardening can truly flourish. As part of our team, you’ll help maintain and enhance the natural beauty of the village, creating spaces that residents love to enjoy. The successful candidates will be required to deliver garden and ensuring the village is properly kept for the enjoyment of the residents. Reporting to the Village Manager, your duties will include: Looking after the shared garden spaces and general garden maintenance Mowing and whipper snipping Planting, watering, weeding, spraying, pruning, and clearing leaves Managing green waste Keeping tools and equipment in good shape About you The successful candidate will have the following: Demonstrated experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture (a minimum 3 years experience, highly regarded) Current Australian Driver’s Licence Ride-on mowing experience (highly regarded) Strong knowledge of native plants, including selection, care, and propagation A genuine interest in assisting the independent living seniors Skilled in pruning, planting, soil preparation, pest and disease management Experience operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment safely Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of garden presentation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills for interacting with residents and staff in a friendly, professional manner Knowledge of safe work practices and commitment to workplace health and safety Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one) Ready to Join the Fun?
