M&P Services is a proudly local, family-owned business that has been operating across Queensland since 1986. With nearly four decades of proven success, we specialise in the manufacture, hire, and sales of transportable buildings, mobile crib rooms, shipping container solutions, and associated products. Our client base spans Australia-wide, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia.
We are seeking a person to join our Hire Operations Team based out of our headquarters in Mackay. This fulltime role is very hands-on and includes preparing our hire fleet for dispatch, accepting off hire returns, completing pre & post hire inspections, repairs and cleaning. The successful person will possess a keen eye for attention to detail, strong communication skills and be a team player. Full training provided.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Transport Preparation
* Ensuring all buildings / containers leaving premises are presented in a good, clean, and tidy condition completing all necessary documentation
* Maintenance of required paperwork for goods inwards and dispatch
* Quality Assurance requirements
Skills and experience required:
* Must be able to communicate effectively and work productively
* Demonstrated experience in a similar workshop environment
* Must be able to work unsupervised and within a team environment
* Must have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety and work ethic
* Must be able to pass a medical which includes drug and alcohol testing
* Must be an Australian citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
