Responsibilities
As an APS6 Logistics and Asset Coordinator you will be responsible for:
* Managing equipment stocks and assist with procurements to maintain required stock levels.
* Maintain asset database to control all equipment overseas and in storage in Australia.
* Undertake stocktake and audit of equipment.
* Plan, manage and deliver end-to-end procurement activities including market research, preparation of documentation, evaluations, negotiations and contract awards.
* Present high level of customer service and provide advice and support to internal clients and stakeholders in relation to procurement and contract management, in line with Procurement Framework’s.
* Work under limited supervision, including planning, prioritising and organising work to achieve deadlines.
* Mailbox management, as well as the management of corporate document and filing.
* Other duties as directed.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team.
* Ability to undertake analysis of suppliers, markets, products and service categories to inform procurement planning.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision in adverse or high stress environments.
Desirable:
It would be desirable for the Specified Personnel to have experience in or knowledge of:
* Commonwealth procurements including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
* Understanding of overseas and their operating environments.
AUS Citizenship and a Negative Vetting 1 is mandatory for this opportunity.
