Conservation Project Officer Role
The Barengi Gadjin Land Council Aboriginal Corporation represents Traditional Owners from various nations in south-eastern Australia.
As the Prescribed Body Corporate, they have legal authority to work on behalf of the Traditional Owners, protecting and managing their cultural landscapes, values, and heritage.
The Conservation Project Officer will support the progression of conservation projects at native nurseries, focusing on land management and related initiatives.
* Perform tasks such as clearing, felling, burning, and soil preparation.
* Support restoration planting activities onsite and within designated zones.
* Assist with land preparation, planting collection, cleaning, and propagation of vegetation under project objectives.
* Contribute to projects that enhance nursery sites and promote environmental sustainability.
