About the Role:
We are looking for a Architect/Building designer who is passionate about design, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of Australian building codes and regulations. You will work on a variety of projects, from concept design to construction documentation, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet both client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee architectural projects from concept to completion.
* Prepare and review DA, CC, and CDC documentation.
* Coordinate with consultants, clients, and local authorities.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and council requirements.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and drafters.
* Utilize Archicad for drafting and design work.
* Attend site visits and liaise with builders as required.
* Team leading skills
Requirements:
* Must be a Architect/ Building Designer in Australia.
* Must have valid Australian work authorisation.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, preferably in the Sydney market.
* Proficiency in Archicad,
* Proficiency in Archicad is mandatory.
* Proficiency in Rendering.
* Experienced in residential, commercial and class 2
* interior design Experience
* Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, council requirements, and BCA/NCC compliance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
* A keen eye for detail and high-quality design outcomes.
