About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Flower Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a passion for flowers, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Wrapping, arranging, and displaying flowers and plants with attention to detail and creativity;
* Quality checking flowers to ensure they are fresh and of high quality;
* Packing and preparing custom bouquets for customers;
* Providing outstanding customer service and responding to customer inquiries;
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including flower displays and storage areas;
* Assisting with inventory management and stocking shelves;
* Participating in visual merchandising and display activities to create an appealing store environment;
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction;
* Complying with health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment;
Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or floral environment;
* Demonstrated expertise in flower arrangement and care;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays;
* High school diploma or equivalent required;
* Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software an asset;
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods;
