Job Description
* Oversee Design and development of HV substations up to 132 kV, including primary and protection systems.
* Guide, plan and implement power systems engineering solutions for complex projects.
* Ensure compliance with earthing systems standards (AS 3000) for all designs.
* Support the integration of renewable energy sources, including solar and wind, into the grid.
* Contribute to the delivery of major infrastructure projects nationally.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless interfacing with rail networks.
* Oversee construction, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure project completion.
* Provide technical expertise and support to multidisciplinary teams.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Electrical Engineer Should Have
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in HV substation design and power systems engineering.
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS 3000.
* Expertise in renewable energy integration and major infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with rail network interfacing and associated systems.
* Experience with construction, testing, and commissioning processes.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
