 
        
        Clinical Nurse Educator- Cardiac Services 
Job: Clinical Nurse Educator on Permanent Part-Time basis (3 days a week / 48 hours per fortnight). 
The hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team in a Clinical Nurse Educator role. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and Staff Development Manager, this role will supervise and coordinate mandatory and non-mandatory training programs and in-services. 
Areas of responsibility include education and coordination across departments: Medical Cardiac Services - 5A, Surgical Cardiac Services - 5B, and the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). 
About You 
We are seeking a candidate with a strong clinical background and demonstrated ability to educate and lead others to achieve results. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels are essential. A positive attitude, robust prioritisation and delegation skills, and excellent time management are critical for success in this role. 
You will also bring 
- Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia 
- A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, plus 4 years experience in a relevant specialty area 
- Post Graduate qualifications in Cardiac nursing 
- Demonstrated ability to educate staff in formal and informal settings 
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required 
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment / Post graduate qualification in Education (or working towards) 
- Expert computer literacy in all Microsoft programs 
- Completion of a Preceptorship Program (Desirable) 
- ALS assessor qualifications (Desirable) 
Remuneration 
$58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (Registered Nurse - Level 2 Year 4).
