Wilmoore Allstone is a family-run stonemasonry company based in Geelong, Victoria, with projects across Geelong, Melbourne, and NSW. We're currently on the lookout for experienced Qualified Stonemasons to join our growing team in Sydney.
About Us:
We specialise in all aspects of stonemasonry, including entrance walls, fireplaces, feature walls, retaining walls, pillars, restorations, renovations, and new builds. We're passionate about quality craftsmanship, and our work is showcased on some of the most prestigious residential and commercial builds across Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Cutting, shaping, and fitting stone with precision
* Working with both hand tools and machinery
* Mixing mortar and setting stones with attention to alignment and finish
* Constructing stone walls and blockwork
* Leading or collaborating with small teams on-site
* Maintaining and restoring existing stone structures
* Accurately lodging daily information and progress updates into company software systems
* Demonstrating high attention to detail with every finish
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a stonemason with a portfolio of completed projects
* Ability to read and interpret plans
* Confident working independently or supervising others
* Sound knowledge of traditional and modern stonemasonry techniques
* Strong communication skills and commitment to safety
* Driver's licence and own vehicle preferred
