This role is suitable for new graduates and will include responsibility for creating garment tech packs and range boards, as well as placement and yardage prints.
This is a varied role where you will learn many aspects of the business.
The desired candidate will have the ability to design from briefs efficiently and have the creative ability to contribute to our design team.A day in the lifeAs a JUNIOR FASHION DESIGNER you will be responsible for:Garment CAD sketching & tech pack creationRange board creation and upkeepPackaging and label design for apparel and accessoriesApparel and accessories design concepts and ideasContribute to trend researchGeneral filing and sample upkeepAn ideal addition to the will have:Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and PhotoshopRelevant tertiary qualificationsA strong interest in the fashion industryAn exceptional eye for design and creative detailDemonstrated competency with the Microsoft Office SuiteComprehensive understanding of current trends in fashion and social mediaExceptional organisational and time management skillsCan-do attitude & willingness to learn and work with othersIf you think you're the next best thing to hit the we can't wait to hear from you
