Located at our state-of-the-art facility in Jandakot, Perth, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient production of Hellers Australia products.
We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Both morning 5:00am to 1:00pm and afternoon 1:00pm to 9:00pm shifts are available, Monday through Friday.
The Role
As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our production lines. You will be responsible for operating, setting up, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, while ensuring all work meets food safety, quality, and productivity standards. You will also provide guidance and support to machine operators and production workers, helping to build a safe and efficient team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery to ensure smooth, efficient operation.
· Lead and support a small team of operators, providing training and direction as required.
· Carry out equipment changeovers, set-ups, and basic maintenance.
· Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, GMP).
· Complete accurate production and quality records.
· Identify and resolve machine faults or escalate issues as needed.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line performance.
· Ensure adherence to workplace health & safety requirements.
About You
· Previous experience as a Machine Operator in food or beverage essential.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements.
· Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members.
· Good communication skills and attention to detail.
