The iconic Railway Hotel Bar & Steakhouse in Gosford, part of the John Singleton Group, is seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our kitchen.

The Railway Hotel Bar & Steakhouse is a local favourite, renowned for premium steaks, hearty modern-Australian classics, and warm hospitality. 
Our venue is a key part of Gosford’s thriving dining scene, and we take pride in delivering quality food and service every time. 
The Role: 
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our back-of-house team. 
You’ll be working with quality ingredients and a supportive team to deliver consistently excellent meals to our guests. 
Key Responsibilities: 
Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in line with our menu and specials 
Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations 
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing wastage 
Support the Head Chef with menu development and kitchen leadership where required 
Work collaboratively with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service 
About You: 
Trade qualified with minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen (pub or steakhouse experience a plus) 
A passion for food, strong attention to detail, and pride in presentation 
Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure 
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
