At ACT Australia and Mixim, we are proud to be an Australian Owned and Made Manufacturer of tile and stone fixing materials here in Rocklea. While our competitors include large multinationals such as Ardex, Bostik, Laticrete, Mapei, RLA, and Sika, we continue to grow strongly thanks to our focus on quality innovation, service, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions.

Our business is split between ACT Australia brand of tile fixing materials and Mixim, our manufacturing division producing private-label products for tile and trade outlets. Both arms of the business are experiencing exciting growth, and we're looking for the right person to help us take things to the next level.

The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional from within the Building Construction Industry who is ready to make a real impact as our Sales Representative/Business Development Manager.

You'll be responsible for servicing and growing existing customers while targeting new business opportunities, working mainly with resellers such as Tile Outlets and Trade Outlets, along with Australia's Largest Commercial Tile Fixing Organisations.

With a focus on both Queensland and the opportunity to expand interstate, this role offers the chance to grow our footprint nationally and build long-term success.

About You

We're seeking a driven professional who can confidently build relationships and grow sales at every level. You might currently be working with a competitor, trade reseller, or in the wider construction industry including Architects/Specifiers/Estimators, with the networks and knowledge to hit the ground running.

You'll bring:

* Experience: Prior experience in B2B sales (experience in construction materials is desirable but not essential)
* Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
* Drive: A self-motivated and reliable attitude, with the ability to take the initiative and achieve goals independently
* Organisation: High attention to detail, coupled with excellent organisational and CRM management skills
