B.A Roads QLD is a new subdivision of B.A Road Services, and we're building a strong team to support our expansion across the Greater Brisbane area. We're looking for an experienced Asphalt Foreman who's ready to step into a leadership role and help shape the future of our Queensland operations.
About the Role
As Asphalt Foreman, you'll lead an onsite crew delivering high-quality asphalt works across maintenance, resurfacing and project jobs. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure safety standards are met, and support the team to produce quality results on time and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and support the asphalt crew
* Coordinate daily activities, plant, equipment and materials
* Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
* Monitor mix quality, compaction and finish standards
* Liaise with supervisors, clients and project teams
* Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
* Promote a strong safety culture and positive team environment
What We're Looking For
* Experience as an Asphalt Foreman or Leading Hand
* Strong understanding of asphalt laydown processes
* Proven ability to lead and mentor a crew
* Excellent communication and planning skills
* Commitment to safety and quality
* Current driver's licence (HR/HC highly regarded)
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
