Job Description
As Power Generation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth for power generation and lighting tower products in Victoria. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, combining technical expertise with consultative selling.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute the Victorian sales plan aligned with branch targets.
* Manage existing accounts while actively generating new business opportunities.
* Provide tailored technical solutions, including generator upfit requirements and distribution board configurations.
* Oversee the end-to-end sales process: quoting, costing, and follow-up.
* Collaborate with the service division for technical support and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM and deliver on KPIs.
* Maintaining customer relationships are essential whilst also engaging new clients through planned weekly visits
Profile
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
* A trade background (diesel fitter or electrician preferred) combined with strong sales experience.
* Proven experience in power generation or related technical sales.
* Ability to cost jobs accurately and provide consultative solutions.
* Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Motivation to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
