Job Title:
This is a pivotal leadership role within the Police and Protective Service Officer Recruitment Team.
The successful candidate will administer national bulk recruitment processes, providing expert advice and services to internal clients. They will represent the organization as the first point of customer service for candidates and support the strategic intent by recruiting the people needed now and in the future.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the team and provide clear direction and support to ensure priorities and deadlines are managed efficiently and effectively.
* Develop innovative strategies to attract the right talent at the right time and establish ways to assess it.
* Manage workload allocation and make informed decisions for team and financial approvals.
* Bring relevant experience and knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, the current recruiting market, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to the role.
The duties include but are not limited to:
* Providing leadership to staff in relation to day-to-day recruitment processes.
* Managing work performance to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Analyzing and applying recruitment and performance metrics to support decision making.
* Identifying and planning for peaks and troughs throughout the yearly recruitment cycle.
* Seeking continuous improvements to ensure that the organization delivers on the right people in the right place at the right time.
