About the Role
We are seeking a pool of qualified and experienced Casual Valve Technicians in preparation for several scheduled Site Shutdowns in the coming months. These roles require a current right to work in Australia.
Responsibilities
* Disassembly, overhaul, testing and certifying of valves and ancillary equipment
* Fault finding and problem solving
* Bench fitting, where deemed competent
* Perform machining duties
* Compile site service reports
* Ensuring that all work performed meets with the requirements of NATA and ISO 9001 standards.
* Ensuring that company and clientele procedures are being followed for all work being carried out.
* Maintaining, at all times, emphasis on safety & quality
* Upholding of Score Values, always
Equipment Operation
* Computer and associated equipment
* High Pressure hydrostatic and pneumatic test equipment, fittings, hoses etc. (where certified as competent)
* Hydraulic and annual Torque Wrenchers
* Using rigging equipment (where deemed competent)
* Lathes, milling machines, Radial and Press Drills and power related hand tools e.g. die grinders, disc grinders etc.
* Operation of reach and counterbalance forklifts (where certified as competent)
* Operation of overhead gantry crane (where deemed competent)
Qualifications & Experience
* Accredited Engineering/Mechanical apprenticeship or a minimum 5-year industry experience is essential
* A good understanding of and experience in valve and operator overhauls
* Onshore and Offshore site experience highly regarded
