About the role
Mater Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Community Pharmacy team in a permanent full‐time or part‐time position (up to 38 hours per week). This role will be based across our Mater Public and Mater Private Hospital Community Pharmacy sites, located at Raymond Terrace and Vulture Street, South Brisbane.
Who we are
Mater Health Services Southeast Queensland consists of a distinct network of two public hospitals and four private hospitals located in South Brisbane, Springfield, and Redland, providing care to over 500,000 patients annually.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a consistent high level of pharmacy service to patients of Mater Health utilizing your clinical knowledge, skills and expertise.
* Provide high‐quality services for optimising medication‐related outcomes for patients.
* If qualified, administer vaccinations in accordance with the National Immunisation Program Vaccinations in Pharmacy Program, state‐based vaccination programs and privately funded vaccination services.
* Utilise applications including MedAdvisor to record and claim for professional service delivery.
* Be available on a Monday to Friday roster.
About you
To be considered for this role you must have:
* Bachelor of Pharmacy.
* AHPRA registration to practice as a Pharmacist (with no restrictions).
* Completed Approved Immunisation Training Program is desirable.
* Hold a First Aid/CPR Certification (HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011) is desirable.
* Competency with Minfos and MedAdvisor software is desirable.
* Completion, commencement, or interest in completing the Graduate Certificate of Advanced Practice and Prescribing to support full scope of practice services is desirable.
You will also demonstrate a professional attitude, effective communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
