Overview

Intercast & Forge is Australia's largest Independent Iron Foundry and market leader in its industry sector, supplying Australian and global rail, automotive and general engineering industries from our Adelaide production facility.

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in accounts receivable who is looking for flexible part-time hours (30–35 hours per week). Working days as well as start/finish times are open to negotiation week to week, with higher hours required at end of month to complete reporting requirements.


Responsibilities

* End-to-end accounts receivable function including invoicing, credit notes, collections, and cash flow forecasting (receipts side).
* Assist in reconciling ledger accounts and completing bank reconciliations when required.
* Produce accurate and timely financial reports in line with monthly timetables.
* Prepare supporting documentation for month-end reporting.
* Liaise with credit insurers to manage current limits.
* Enter Key Performance Indicator (KPI) statistics on a monthly basis.
* Provide backup support to payroll processing as required.
* Assist with processing customer orders during staff absences or peak periods.


Skills & Experience

* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an accounts receivable or bookkeeping role (including payroll exposure desirable).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence in dealing with customers professionally and commercially.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (experience with Syteline or Definitiv advantageous, but not essential).
* A proactive team player willing to assist across multiple functions within the finance team.
