CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager for our client, working across civil and development projects based in Darwin, NT.
This role will suit a hands-on Project Manager with strong experience in environmental compliance and project delivery, ideally within construction, land development, or infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with NT and Federal environmental regulations, approvals, and permits
* Monitor environmental risks and conduct regular site inspections
* Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental & Sustainability Plans
* Manage land remediation, waste management, and environmental impact mitigation
* Lead stakeholder engagement across government, community, contractors, and consultants
* Prepare compliance reports and manage permit applications and renewals
* Oversee environmental project budgets and resource allocation
* Drive sustainability initiatives and promote best environmental practices across projects
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience managing environmental aspects of civil or construction projects
* Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance, and risk management
* Experience developing and implementing Environmental Management Plans
* Confident communicator across stakeholders including government bodies
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence project outcomes
* Detail-oriented with strong reporting and problem-solving capability
* Committed to sustainability and continuous professional development
