Our client is a well-established Tier 2 contractor with over forty years operating across the Northern Territory, delivering large-scale commercial, infrastructure and Defence projects throughout the region. With a strong pipeline of secured government-funded works, they are currently seeking a Project Administrator to support the delivery of a major Defence infrastructure project in Darwin. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project within a structured and secure environment, working alongside experienced construction and project delivery professionals on nationally significant infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the project delivery and commercial teams Manage project documentation, registers and correspondence Coordinate onboarding and site mobilisation requirements (high data entry component with NV1 security checks) Assist with procurement and subcontract administration processes Maintain document control systems and project filing structures Support meeting coordination, agendas and minute taking Track project compliance documentation and approvals Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders Assist with reporting and general project coordination activities Requirements Applicants must be Australian Citizens for security clearance purpose Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Site Administrator or Contracts Administration support role within construction, infrastructure or Defence projects Strong organisational and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient across Microsoft Office and project management systems Experience working within structured compliance environments highly regarded Current NV1 Security Clearance or ability to obtain one Ability to work full-time in Darwin What’s on Offer Permanent full-time opportunity Major long-term Defence infrastructure project Strong project pipeline and career progression opportunities Supportive and established project team environment Relocation assistance available for interstate candidates Opportunity to contribute to nationally significant infrastructure delivery This role will suit a motivated and organised construction administrator looking to build long-term experience within major Defence and infrastructure projects in the Northern Territory.
