Dynamic Motion Platform Developer
Our organization is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to lead the development of in-house motion control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
This dynamic role requires collaboration with engineering, software, and integration teams to ensure system performance and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owning, maintaining, and enhancing the in-house motion control algorithm.
* Designing, developing, and tuning motion cueing algorithms for new simulation environments.
* Tuning high/low-pass motion filters to maximize motion platform responsiveness.
* Customizing motion integration for specific vehicle types while maintaining generic capability.
* Documenting tuning processes, outcomes, and best practices.
Strong skills and experience in modeling physical or motion systems, including control systems, MATLAB, and Simulink are required. Desired skills include experience with motion cueing algorithms, familiarity with inverse kinematics and robotic control, and knowledge of safe operation in mixed human-machine environments.
