The Role
We are seeking an experienced Design Estimator to join our construction team. This role is critical in supporting our national operations and delivering accurate, competitive estimates for complex projects. Key responsibilities include:
· Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for commercial plumbing projects in line with technical standards.
· Assisting in design development and budget preparation for various projects.
· Pricing work according to company procedures and offering value engineering options to improve quality or reduce costs.
· Monitoring competitive pricing, new techniques, and cost trends across multiple states.
· Supporting tender submissions and providing value management solutions to clients.
· Interpreting specifications and standards to assess cost impacts.
· Collaborating with Project Managers, clients, and design teams during early project stages, including design close-out, procurement, and supply chain coordination.
· Managing deadlines effectively and responding promptly to client requests.
· Demonstrating strong understanding of building processes and plumbing package delivery within project programs.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

You are personable, professional, and highly motivated with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You have proven experience estimating commercial plumbing construction projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
