What you'll be doing
As an Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of community health services by being the first point of contact for clients, carers and community members.
- Provide reception, switchboard and waiting room management with a welcoming approach.
- Deliver administrative support such as record management, correspondence, meeting coordination and data entry.
- Maintain electronic health records and support scheduling and client appointments.
- Assist with stock management, ordering and centre/fleet maintenance.
- Contribute to workplace safety, quality improvement, and service processes.
Selection Criteria:
1. Holds a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent, or is willing to undertake this level training.
2. Extensive experience in an administrative role, with demonstrated experience in exceptional customer service skills the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
3. Excellent written communication skills, and demonstrated experience producing complex documents such as meeting minutes, briefs, and reports and spread sheets.
4. Demonstrated experience using a variety of data, record keeping and ordering systems, computer applications and electronic health record systems.
5. Demonstrated initiative, organisational and time management skills and ability to manage responsibilities within required timeframes under broad supervision.
6. Ability to work autonomously and actively participate within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Experience supporting clinical teams and/or the implementation of current systems in a health care or similar setting.
8. Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
