Job Description
This role leads the commercial functions that support drilling operations for mining clients. It's critical in ensuring commercial activities align with company objectives and client expectations.
The position will be based in Perth and involve:
* Tender Management: end-to-end tender process, project planning, coordination, risk analysis, costing information preparation, productivity assumptions, and final pricing.
* Contract Management: monitoring contract expiry dates, rollover process, ensuring all charges are covered under the scope of the contract, tracking established contracts (schedule, deliverables, invoicing, and closeout).
* Ongoing monitoring of project performance and contract, including KPIs, quarterly and monthly review meeting presentations, calculating bonuses/penalties, pricing adjustments, rise/fall clauses, and other relevant financial metrics.
* Regular visits to field operations to ensure efficient execution of contracts to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* Strong business acumen with sound knowledge of financial modelling.
* Problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capability.
* Effective time management, structured approach to work, and high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
