We're working with a national, heavy industry organisation to find a capable and organised individual to support their busy Talent team. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who enjoys recruitment coordination, working with systems, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

About the Role

This is an initial 8-week contract position supporting the day-to-day operations of the recruitment and onboarding process. You'll work across multiple campaigns and provide practical support to hiring managers, candidates, and the broader Talent team.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Posting job ads across internal systems and external job boards (LinkedIn, SEEK, etc.)
* Assisting with candidate shortlisting and interview coordination
* Supporting pre-employment screening and onboarding documentation
* Drafting employment contracts and maintaining accurate HR records
* Creating purchase orders and processing invoices
* Assisting with system administration and ensuring data integrity
* Helping coordinate assessment centres and attending careers events where needed
* Supporting continuous improvement activities within the team.

About You

You're someone who's comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities at once. You enjoy being the go-to person for coordination and admin, and you're confident working with recruitment platforms and internal systems.

You'll bring:

* Experience in recruitment or HR administration (internal or agency)
* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
* Great attention to detail — especially when preparing contracts or updating systems
* Familiarity with eRecruitment platforms, HRIS and job boards
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* A professional, discreet and proactive approach.
