Experienced Senior Dry Cleaner or Wet Cleaner
We are looking to add an additional garment/clothing Senior Dry Cleaner or Wet Cleaner with solid Garment/Clothing Dry Cleaning or Wet Cleaning experience to join our friendly team of dry cleaners to control the operations and care of customer garments. Garments we clean include suits, dresses, wedding gowns, silk blouses, jackets, suede, leather, fur, ties and all other delicate garments. Our plant has state of the art Dry Cleaner, Wet Cleaner, pressing & finishing equipment onsite. Previous dry cleaner or wet cleaner experience is essential for this role but additional training will be provided. Perfect role for candidates who have previously worked in dry cleaners, wet cleaners or a serviced laundry environment.
Key responsibilities for this role are, but no limited to:
* Dry Cleaning & spotting garments
* Guiding the team to manage the workflow of dry cleaner duties
* Quality control of garments/clothing prior to racking
* Regularly liaise with our delivery team to ensure orders are picked up & delivered back to our customers on time
* Regularly liaising with the Customer Service teams across our 3 stores
* Ideally have the ability to communicate with customers if and when required
* Good communication skills required for effective customer interaction when needed
Skills and experience:
* Require General Dry Cleaning, Wet Cleaning, Laundry and Garment Pressing knowledge
* MUST have Australian work rights as we are not able to sponsor applicants
* Ability to learn fast and work efficiently
* Ability to operate independently
* Eye for detail and Quality Control
* Ability to successfully manage a team
* Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of Dry Cleaning, Wet Cleaning, pressing or serviced laundry experience.
