The Opportunity
As Senior Associate – Studio Lead, you will be the driving force behind the creative, cultural, and commercial direction of the Brisbane studio. You will lead a team of multidisciplinary designers providing design leadership, strategic guidance, and project oversight.
This role is ideal for someone who brings broad project experience—particularly across residential, mixed-use, retail, and hospitality—and who is ready to energise the studio with new thinking, new networks, and new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspire, mentor, and lead a talented team fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
* Leverage your strong connections within Queensland's property and development sectors to identify and secure new work.
* Act as a key market face for the studio, proactively building relationships with developers, councils, builders, and private clients.
* Drive diversification of the studio's portfolio, with a focus on emerging opportunities in residential, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality.
* Help evolve the studio's identity as it expands into new market sectors.
About You
You're a seasoned designer and studio leader who brings a fresh set of eyes and a broad portfolio. You thrive on building teams, shaping studio culture, and growing client relationships. You're energised by the idea of diversifying a design practice and helping to define what its next era will look like.
Skills & Experience
* 12+ years' experience in architecture or design, with demonstrated leadership in a studio or large project environment.
* Deep industry connections in Queensland and the ability to convert relationships into meaningful project opportunities.
* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop professional teams.
