Working in a collaborative, inquisitive and purpose‐driven publishing environment, this role plays a key part in shaping how UQP titles and authors are presented to audiences, stakeholders and partners, contributing to culturally significant publishing outcomes.**Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:*** Provide high‐level administrative support and office coordination for the Marketing and Publicity team, including reconciling invoices, monitoring shared communications, proofreading EDMs, compiling media clippings, and maintaining accurate records and databases.* Design and delivering digital outreach materials including digital advertising, social media assets, website content and EDMs, with coordination of freelancers where required.* Design and producing print‐ready marketing collateral, templates and promotional materials that strengthen the UQP brand and support sales and marketing initiatives.* Support author tours, events and promotions, updating and maintaining the UQP website, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver polished, timely and on‐brand outcomes.This is a full-time, continuing position for up at HEW Level 5.# **About You*** Completion of a relevant degree OR completion of an advanced diploma qualification and at least (2) years relevant work experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.* Demonstrated experience in graphic design, the print industry, both digital and offset.* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.* Well-developed interpersonal skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication.* Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Mailchimp, the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat).* Quality creative skills.* Energy and initiative to work independently where required, while practicing effective decision-making.* Passion for books and reading.For more information about this opportunity, please contact Jean Smith at jean.smith@uqp.com.au.For application inquiries, please reach out to the Talent Acquisition team at talent@uq.edu.au, stating the job reference number (below) in the subject line.When you apply, please ensure you upload a **resume** and **cover letter** summarising how your background aligns to the 'About You' section.# **Other Information**Pre-employment checks may include: verification of the right to work in Australia.
