AHG is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team supporting planned maintenance activities across Defence facilities in Darwin and potentially Katherine including Bradshaw and Delamere.
This role is ideal for people who enjoy practical, hands-on work, take pride in doing things properly, and are comfortable following clear processes and safety standards. You do not need to be trade qualified or have prior experience in hydraulics. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing
* Completing planned maintenance checks on site equipment and systems including obtaining samples for water testing
* Following step-by-step maintenance procedures to keep assets operating safely and reliably
* Carrying out inspections, noting condition, and reporting any issues
* Travelling between Defence locations in Darwin and potentially Katherine, Bradshaw and Delamere
* Accurately recording work completed and observations made
* Working safely and consistently in line with company and Defence requirements
* Communicating clearly with supervisors and team members
* Contributing positively as part of a supportive, professional team
About You
We are looking for people who:
* Enjoy hands-on work and working in outdoor or site-based environments
* Are reliable, safety-conscious, and take pride in their work
* Can follow procedures and pay close attention to detail
* Are comfortable using basic tools, checklists, or digital systems (training provided)
* Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
* Can work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, utilities, defence, or similar environments is helpful but not required. Trade qualifications are not essential.
Requirements
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
* Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid NT Driver Licence
* Ability to travel between work sites as required
* Supply own basic tools
