Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-focused in-house employment lawyer to advise on the full range of employment law matters affecting our business across the Asia Pacific region.
* The successful candidate will provide pragmatic, risk-balanced advice on recruiting, hiring, restrictive covenants, training, performance management, HR policies, employee relations matters, investigations, separations and occupational health and safety. This includes compliance with Fair Work Act Privacy Act Work Health and Safety Act (NSW) associated regulations in Australia corresponding regimes in the Asia Pacific region.
This role requires an experienced lawyer with proven ability to manage stakeholders across various business functions substantial knowledge of employment law in Australia ideally experience advising on other Asia Pacific jurisdictions. The ideal candidate must stay up-to-date with legal regulatory developments impacting our organization proactively work with internal stakeholders to develop timely responses those developments update draft workplace policies handbooks negotiate contracts related documentation deliver training on employment topics manage relationships external counsel as needed collaborate closely members of our legal team key business stakeholders implement desired goals may undertake general legal matters affecting Susquehanna business across the Asia Pacific region including advising privacy law.
