**Quick overview of the role**
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to ensure our quality management system is continuously improved, embedded, and effectively maintained for supporting ISO, ACRS, other relevant standards and customer-specific requirements. This is an exciting role leading and influencing quality outcomes across all areas of the business.
**What will you be doing?**
- Ensure the organisations Quality Management System is maintained, effective and aligned to relevant standards
- Lead operational quality activities including the Internal Audit Program
- Maintain and lead the ISO9001 certification and assurance activities with stakeholders (including ACRS, & TMR coordination).
- Conduct regular site inspections and champion 'quality walks'
- Mitigate quality risks and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Support the CI department and the Quality Pillar
- Deliver quality reporting to the Board and Executive levels
- Facilitate training and coaching activities including toolbox talks and internal training
- Manage company document control
- Oversee non-conformances including maintaining the Non-Conformance Register
- Oversee Supplier quality including analysing customer complaints and credits investigations
- Develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, process control procedures, and testing and analysis procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and standards.
- Supervise the Test Laboratory and ensure all testing records are maintained
- Submit reporting to ACRS based on conforming to AS/NZS4671 & AS3600.
- Detailed knowledge of the ISO9001 certification and quality systems
- Ability to coordinate to lead cross functional teams
- Highly organised, team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Steel and Plastics knowledge an advantage
