This is an ideal position for a values-led HR professional with experience managing complex employee relations, driving operational HR excellence, and leading a small team within a multifaceted environment.This is a key appointment in the People & Culture team and an exciting opportunity to help shape the employee experience in a mission-driven organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboardingManage cyclical HR processes including contract management, compliance reporting, and award interpretationEnsure compliance with Fair Work legislation, NES, and relevant industrial instrumentsLead and guide HR staff to deliver high-quality and consistent serviceAdvise and support leaders on a range of employee relations matters such as performance concerns, investigations, and workplace conflict resolutionPartner with stakeholders to ensure people practices align with College objectives and regulatory obligationsDevelop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with best practice and legislative changesMaintain data integrity across HRIS platforms and generate accurate reports and workforce insightsContribute to a culture of continuous improvement across HR servicesAbout YouThe ideal candidate will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in a senior HR advisory or business partnering capacity, preferably within education or similarly complex sectorsIn-depth understanding of Australian employment law, ER/IR frameworks, and compliance requirementsDemonstrated success in leading and mentoring HR professionalsAdvanced capability in award interpretation, policy development, and operational HR practicesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsA high level of discretion, integrity, and professionalismProficiency with HRIS platforms and data reportingFull Australian working rightsWhat’s on OfferA senior role in a purpose-led and respected educational institutionA collaborative and inclusive workplace cultureThe opportunity to lead HR initiatives that make a tangible impact on employee experience and organisational outcomesAccess to ongoing professional development and supportHow to ApplyTroocoo is managing this recruitment process exclusively on behalf of St Peters Lutheran College.
