Our client, a Local Government department is seeking labourers for a temporary contract until the end of December
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for supporting the team with a range of general labouring tasks, including:
* Assisting with the laying of watermains and pipe installation
* Undertaking labouring duties as directed/required
* Maintaining a safe worksite and following workplace health and safety procedures
* Supporting the team with equipment handling, basic site preparation, and housekeeping
Requirements:
* White Card (construction induction).
* C Class Driver's Licence.
* Basic numeracy, written, and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work cooperatively, safely, and ethically under supervision.
* Willingness to work on a physically demanding site and assist as needed.
* Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
* Reliable with a great work ethic.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
PPE Requirements:
* Hi-vis long sleeve shirts.
* Steel cap boots (no elastic-sided).
* Broad-brimmed hat (no caps).
