About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with H1 Group, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients living in their own homes or supported accommodation. Your support will empower clients to live more independently and stay connected with their community.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
* Provide manual handling and medication administration support
* Provide support for clients with Epilepsy, Diabetes, Asthma, and follow MTMP (Mealtime Management Plans)
* Support clients with community access and emotional wellbeing
* Work effectively with individuals displaying Behaviours of Concern
* Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families
* Use initiative and demonstrate reliability while on shift
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience supporting clients with disabilities
* Experience in ADLs, manual handling, and medication administration
* Demonstrated experience with Epilepsy, Diabetes, Asthma, and MTMP
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Valid Police Check, First Aid, and CPR certificate
* Flexibility to work across various locations in the Nowra region
