SkyCare Solutions is currently seeking experienced and reliable NDIS support workers to support a young male participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3 based in Geelong.
This participant is a 22-year-old with high support needs and behaviours of concern. He requires active supervision, structure, and patience to support his daily living activities and community access in a safe and meaningful way.
Client requirement: Experience in supporting clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily living tasks including personal care and toileting.
* Support with meal preparation, light domestic duties, and routine-based engagement
* Accompany to community activities, outings, and therapy appointments
* Follow a behaviour-informed care plan and implement safe, positive engagement strategies
* Remain vigilant in public spaces and during transport to ensure safety and comfort
* Maintain detailed shift notes and incident reports where required
Skills & Experience
* Cert III in Disability or a relevant qualification.
* Current Driving License.
* Police check.
* NDIS Worker screening or ability to obtain.
* A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.
* Demonstrated, proven experience working with individuals who may have complex support needs in different environments.
* Proven can do, positive and willing attitude.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Friendly disposition and engaging manner.
* Initiative and self-motivation.
* Flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $43.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
