Maintenance Officer – Clubhouse & Surrounds
Royal Fremantle Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team
This role is key to ensuring our Clubhouse, car park, and all surrounding areas are kept to the highest standard of presentation for our members and guests.
To be considered for the role, you must have:
* The ability to work autonomously, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills and the ability to deal with trades and members in a professional manner.
* Proven experience as a handyman or tradesperson, with skills in general maintenance tasks.
* Experience using hardware tools and electrical equipment.
* Attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out daily maintenance of the Clubhouse and surrounds, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and presentable.
* Perform general upkeep such as cobwebbing, pressure cleaning, touch-up painting, basic plumbing, and minor repairs.
* Maintain and present all gardens surrounding the Clubhouse and carpark (excluding the Golf Course itself).
* Repair and maintain Clubhouse equipment (where expertise allows), or co-ordinate and liaise with trades as required.
* Monitor and address maintenance issues promptly to maintain a high standard for members and visitors.
Employment Details:
This is a part-time position, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. An early morning start is essential to ensure all member areas are prepared and presented before use.
