About the Role: Lead the finance function, ensuring effective allocation and control of financial resources to maximise organisational outcomes Manage complex accounting activities across infrastructure and project environments, including cashflow, external borrowings, leases, and grants Deliver accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and Treasury reporting Drive effective financial reporting aligned to internal and external stakeholder requirements Provide strategic financial advice and support to executive leadership and project teams Lead financial performance analysis, business case development, and funding submissions Oversee statutory reporting and manage relationships with Audit & Risk Committee, NSW Treasury, and key government stakeholders Implement and maintain financial risk management and governance frameworks Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team About you: CA or CPA qualified Proven experience in a CFO or senior finance leadership role within complex, project-based environments Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cashflow management Demonstrated ability to provide strategic financial advice and partner with senior stakeholders Knowledge of NSW Government financial frameworks and Australian Accounting Standards is highly regarded A hands-on leader who can operate effectively in a dynamic, changing environment This is a rare opportunity to step into a critical leadership role within a highly visible government organisation, where your expertise will directly support the delivery of major infrastructure and long-term strategic outcomes.
