Platform Finance is one of Australia's fastest-growing asset finance aggregation companies. We are seeking a highly organised person to join our Accounts Team based in our Mildura office (MFL).
About the role
This role involves being an integral part of our busy national accounts team. The varied tasks of this role will include data entry, spreadsheets, reconciliations and processing payments. We are looking for a self-motivated person, with strong attention to detail and a keen appreciation of numbers.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with the preparation and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Providing support with the month-end and year-end close processes
* Preparing and submitting various financial reports and statements
* Answering queries from internal and external stakeholders
* Providing administrative support to the Accounts team as needed
Key Attributes
Experience with Excel is a must, and knowledge of accounting software would be advantageous, however, on the job training is provided. The successful applicant should have the following attributes:
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel
* Good appreciation of numbers
* Good eye for detail
* Be a self-starter
* Great organisational skills
* Good communication skills
