Adecco are seeking a reliable and physically capable Permanent HC Driver to join our night operations team. This role involves multi-drop and pick-up runs, transporting pig carcasses (45–55kg) on rail-to-rail transfers from Port Adelaide to as far as Murray Bridge, before returning to depot.
While the majority of work is carried out in an HR Rigid vehicle, the successful candidate must hold a current and unrestricted HC licence with flexibility to operate a semi when required. Due to the nature of the product, it is essential that the driver understands load movement in transit and has experience managing shifting rail loads.

Responsibilities
* Safely operate HR/HC vehicles on night shift runs (rail-to-rail transfers).
* Load, unload, and handle pig carcasses (45–55kg) – manual handling required.
* Complete multi-drop and pick-up runs to regional and metro locations.
* Ensure compliance with fatigue management, road safety, and load restraint requirements.
* Maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
Your Profile
* HC Licence (unrestricted) – minimum 2 years' proven driving experience.
* Over 25 years of age (insurance requirement).
* Physically fit, capable of repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting.
* Comfortable handling raw meat and working in cold environments.
* Strong understanding of shifting loads and safety in transit.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
* Steady Monday–Friday night shift work.
* Ongoing role with training provided.
* Initial buddy training with an experienced driver (partnering with Dave until competent).
* Supplied PPE including reflective hi-vis meat coat .
