Medical Physics Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Physics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medical physics services to BreastScreen NSW and the hospitals of Western Sydney Local Health District.
* Deliver high-quality radiology medical physics services across multiple sites, including BreastScreen NSW and WSLHD.
This position requires a strong background in diagnostic radiology physics, including experience with equipment testing, radiation dosimetry, shielding, and radiation safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in science with a major in Physics or equivalent qualification.
* ACPSEM Registration or Certification in Radiology Medical Physics within 6 months of commencement.
* NSW EPA CRE Registration within 6 months of commencement.
* Appropriate EPA Radiation User License within 6 months of commencement.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent analytical and organisational skills, as well as highly developed verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
